Step-by-step procedure to set up the user environment:

1. create a working directory for your project

2. copy the design kit configuration script to the working directory:  

   cp /nfsd/ichome/lib/tsmc18bcd_OA/setup/tsmc18bcd_dir.sh  ./tsmc18bcd_dir.sh

3. execute the downloaded script: 

   ./tsmc18bcd_dir.sh

The working directory is now fully set up. Start Cadence DFII with the following commands:

1. source eda-tsmc18bcd.env
2. virtuoso &
3. when creating a new library, attach it to the technology library tsmc18
4. the design kit documentation can be found in:   /nfsd/ichome/lib/tsmc18bcd_OA/PDK_doc   and   /nfsd/ichome/lib/tsmc18bcd_OA/doc
