Capsule Bio

Matteo Bassi was born in Padova, Italy, in 1985. He received the B.S. and M.S. (Summa cum Laude) degrees in electronics engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. In 2008 and 2009 he was an EAP student at the University of California, San Diego. In 2012 he was a visiting student at the Analog Integrated Circuits Laboratory, University of Pavia, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Svelto.
He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the University of Padova, Italy. His main research interests are in the field of RFIC design. Presently he is working on the design of ultra wide-band microwave RF front-end transceivers for bio-medical imaging and high frequency transceivers for high-speed short-range wireless communications.
Matteo Bassi is now at the Analog Integrated Circuits Laboratory at the University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy.

Research Interest

Matteo Bassi's research interests include the design of RF integrated circuits for communication and radar applications with particular emphasis on biomedical applications.
